Are you enthusiastic about airplanes and simulators and you have very good organizational and management skills, please consider applying for this role. Aircraft Simulator Manager (Delivery Manager) is in charge of a small team overseeing planning and realization of Vrgineers simulator installations around the world. This work requires someone who is fluent in English enthusiastic about airplanes having aerospace as a passion. Someone who is excited about new technologies while being curious about airplanes and everything connected with flying or flight simulators. The ideal candidate is a simmer, someone who build or attempted to build a custom simulator, spend hours flying in MSFS, X-Plane and other simulators. Someone, who will love to read aircraft documentation and learn which button does what in the cockpit.
The main Simulators agenda:
- Simulators manufacturing and installation organisation & oversight
- Learning about different airplanes, their cockpit configurations and support document preparation for sales offers and manufacturing execution.
- Spending time in a simulation software, learning capabilities of different flight models, addons, availability of maps, precision of modelled airfields, accuracy of navigation systems and much more
- Resource planning, allocation planning (who should be where doing what)
- Meeting organization (setting agenda, inviting necessary people, maintaining a task lists and controlling the delivery)
- Alignment and synchronization between internal departments and clients about installation/delivery
- Crafting an installation schedule with list of connected work
- Allocating appropriate resources within the company in between different departments
- Creating a check lists and task lists connected with installation such as (visa, accommodation, shipping, export licenses, finalized packing, software license purchases etc.)
- Ideally previous experience in companies such as Honeywell, Dassault Aerospace, Bell, Boeing or other Airplane manufacturers
- or experience building custom simulators as a hobbyist
Legal & Administration Agenda
- A significant part of the workload is connected with legal and administration connected with simulators delivery (dual-use equipment)
- Preparation of documentation package, which normally includes simulator documentation, maintenance manual, startup/shutdown documentation, spare parts catalogue and other documentation
- It is necessary for Delivery Manager to assure that all partners have signed NDAs (communicating and sharing information between partners and internal attorneys or legal advisors during the NDA signature process)
- Handling preparation and participating on contract negotiation (briefing attorneys and legal advisors and presenting drafted contracts to management and partners)
- Preparation of materials and execution of export licenses with internal attorneys and backoffice team
- Cooperation with other departments in a connection with project delivery and its legal aspects (R&D, Manufacturing, Finance)
We are looking for a Head of Mechanical Design to join our team, who has at least 5 years of experience in the development and design of mechanical parts/assemblies and at least 2 years in a management position. They have excellent organizational and communication skills, are resistant to stress, and have critical thinking skills. An interest in modern technologies, consistent self-education, and the integration of innovations into everyday work are essential.
What will be your main tasks?
- Leading and coordinating the mechanical design team
- Planning and managing mechanical design projects from concept to final production
- Ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met
- Collaborating with other departments (electronics, software, optics, manufacturing, quality, etc.) on the integration of mechanical components into final products
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies and materials into design processes
- Solving technical problems and finding innovative solutions to improve products
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Ensuring design compliance with standards and regulations
- Training and developing team members, supporting their professional growth
What should you have for this position?
- Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM SolidWorks, MS Office.
- Advanced knowledge of data management and change management.
- Advanced knowledge of the design and manufacture of plastic parts, steel structures, sheet metal structures, conventional and unconventional manufacturing technologies, material characteristics (strength, thermal conductivity, density, etc.)
- Knowledge of project management and leadership methodologies.
- English language level at least B2

Do you have creative ideas and approach in developing design solutions? We are recruiting a colleague to join our Mechanical Design Department team to work with us on the development of flight simulators.
What will be your job description?
- development of mechanical parts or complete design solutions for flight simulators
- creation of CAD documentation (3D models, drawings)
- creation of manufacturing and assembly documents
- creation of accompanying documentation
- supporting serial and prototype production
- communication and cooperation with other teams within R&D and with external suppliers
What do we expect from you?
- High school or university degree in a technical field
- knowledge of 3D design (SolidWorks software preferred)
- knowledge in the field of drawing documentation
- orientation and up-to-date knowledge of engineering trends, materials and modern technologies
- English language at least at B1 level – written and spoken
- Czech language at least at C1 level – written and spoken
- technical and logical thinking, creativity, responsibility, active attitude, ability to work in teams and independently
- experience in the field is not a prerequisite, we are happy to welcome a graduate with a desire to develop further and acquire new

Skills and Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, or OpenGL
- Proficiency in C++, preferably with newer standards
- Hands-on experience with rendering techniques
- Object-oriented design and software architecture, memory management expertise, and experience with profiling graphics applications
What Will Be Your Main Tasks
- Implementation of advanced rendering techniques and algorithms
- Optimization of the rendering pipeline performance (DirectX 12, Vulkan)
- Collaboration with hardware and software teams to integrate low-level graphics functionality
- Integration of plugins into third-party graphics engines
- Development and optimization of graphics algorithms for VR simulations
